About the role:

As an SMO, you’ll deliver high-quality care while providing clinical leadership across Rural Generalist services, with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology.

You’ll support the Midwifery Group Practice, mentor staff and students, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and work collaboratively across CQHHS, including outreach and Telehealth. Opportunities to rotate across sites will help maintain your procedural skills.

About you:

You’re a Specialist GP / Rural Generalist with MBBS (or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Fellowship (FRACGP/FACRRM) or relevant training pathway is required, along with current ALS/PALS and a commitment to ongoing professional development.


What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $508,599 p.a. is comprised of:

• A salary rate between $187,569 - $193,436 p.a. (L13-L14)
• A salary rate between $187,569 - $216,643 p.a. (L13-L18)
• A salary rate between $216,643 - $259,072 p.a. (L18-L25)
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
